Description

Hiking to visit Comino island

Comino is located between Malta and Gozo,
it is a highly protected area of a bit less than 3km² and form part of the
municipality of Gozo. With no urban areas or cars, this nature reserve is ideal
for hikers.

During this hike, we will visit the Santa
Marija Tower – the historic watchtower with sea view -, the old cemetery, the
old plague hospital and the battery of the fortress, all accompanied by
picturesque views.

 If
you like peace, nature in the wild, nature photography, fortifications and
beautiful beaches then all you need to do is prepare your trekking boots!

On the program:

–  On
your booking we agree where to pick you up , then we head to Marfa where we
catch a small ferry which takes us to the picturesque bay of Blue Lagoon where
we will start our round trek around Comino.

– 18 km of trekking (about 4 hours of
walking), with lunch break and swimming time if in the season.

We will agree on a departure time If you
want me to take you back to your accommodation, or you can stay and admire
Comino  for the rest of the day and take
the last ferry on your own back with the bus or taxi.

Bring a backpack with food and water as we
do not provide them, as well as your bathing suit, sunscreen and towel.

Make sure you make your booking ahead to
not be disappointed.

The Comino tour costs between 35 € and 65 €  per person, depending on the number of people and excluding the cost of the ferry.
